“Love is nearby”, support for the sectors… Karine Le Marchand and the major retailers are committed to farmers

Traditionally absent from the Agricultural Show, five major distributors have agreed to launch three innovative initiatives, at the invitation of the very popular host of M 6. A look back at some more or less new ideas, but which will certainly gain visibility.
By Odile PlichonA star for a cause. This is an unusual announcement that is being made this Wednesday morning at the Salon de l'agriculture , held until March 2 at the Parc des Expositions de la Porte de Versailles in Paris. Often criticized by producers for their tendency to drive prices down, five major distributors, brought together at the initiative of the host of " l'Amour est dans le pré " (M 6), Karine Le Marchand , are unveiling several measures to support agriculture.
Alexandre Bompard (Carrefour), Thierry Cotillard (Intermarché), Dominique Schelcher ( Coopérative U ), but also Guillaume Darrasse (Auchan Retail) and Philippe Palazzi (Casino) have lifted the veil on three strong commitments that they are taking hand in hand. With the aim of "creating a new dynamic between farmers, distributors and consumers". The sector leader, Leclerc , and Lidl, are both absent.
